Sisig is a popular Filipino dish. It is composed of minced pork, chopped onion, and chicken liver. It is a favorite dish for pulutan.

Ingredients:

 

• 2 1/2 kgs Pork Maskara
• 1 kg chicken Liver
• 1 whole butter
• 2 large white onions, minced
• 2 pcs. whole Garlic, minced
• Green chillies
• Bay leaves
• Salt
• Pepper
• Soy sauce
• 2 pcs Lady’s Choice Real Mayonnaise 220ml

 

Procedure:

 

Step • 1. Boil pork maskara until soft. Add bay leaves, salt and pepper to add flavor. This will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Step • 2. Once soft, drain and let it cool. Then cut into small bits/cubes according to your preference.

Step • 3. Prepare your cooking pan. Melt butter. Use slow to medium fire to avoid burning the melted butter.

Step • 4. Saute white onions then the garlic.

Step • 5. Next. Cook the chicken liver. Make sure it’s cooked well so that it can easily be crushed.

Step • 6. Add soy sauce, salt and pepper. With the measurements or amount of each, trust your taste buds

Step • 7. Add green chillies. Amount depends on how spicy you want it to be.

Step • 8. Crush the chicken liver then add your pork maskara. Cook it for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix well

Step • 9. Next, add your mayonnaise. This will add flavor and improve the consistency of your sisig.

Step • 10. almost donee. At this point, you can add more salt, pepper or green and red chillies.

Step • 11. Serve your dish and enjoy!
