If we are willing to accept what God wills in our lives as women

Worldy wisdom and standard, but I will stand and stick of what the Bible says about being a woman.

You can earn money even if you’re just at home watching your kids, you can submit to your husband not because you are not independen , you submit because you respect and love your husband that is the reflection of your submission and respect to God. You can be brave while being soft and humble, you can’t be the only one to follow if you want to do something with your life, it’s between you-God-and your husband.

You can do all these good things if you are humbly submitting your heart and mind thru word of God, what is our purpose as women…God know’s who we are and for what we are designed.. and he is not mistaken.

Men and women are created equal, but we are not equal in the role given to us.As a woman, you have a special purpose and role given by God that a man can never do, the same thing for our women. There is no competition here.

For me this is the best example for me of a female role model. I thank God that with his word there is a proper pattern and guide to follow in every aspect of life.

Even if she is just at home, she can do all these good things for God’s glory and His family by God’s mercy and grace.

I know someone might react to this, they might think I’m targeting career women or working Mom’s outside the homes. I just want to say goodbye to you that I respect whatever your stand regarding this issue. I know we have different lives, there are mommies who need to work (single moms), there are mothers who are really career women or need both to work for the family’s finances.

But may this be just a reminder to all of us, including me, that as long as we can protect and monitor our children, everything will be balanced. One as I can see, not my personal experience ha..how many times have I witnessed a broken family because Mom was outside the home or far away, not just because the husband went crazy (which is not the woman’s fault) .. there are also children who have gone astray. I know that we just want to provide them with a good life … but it’s also different that all the time they are by your side being monitored … every stage of their lives..there is no equivalent material thing. The role of a Mother in the home is so important that as much as possible, we can balance our lives as mothers, wives and the light of the home.

But all this can only be done, if we are willing to accept what God wills in our lives as women.

Proverbs 31:10-31

King James Bible

  • 10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
  • 11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
  • 12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
  • 13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
  • 14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
  • 15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
  • 16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
  • 17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
  • 18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
  • 19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
  • 20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
  • 21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
  • 22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
  • 23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
  • 24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
  • 25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
  • 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
  • 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
  • 28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
  • 29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
  • 30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
  • 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
